Community Service & Beach Day
Location: Ala Moana Beach Park (Magic Island)
1201 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814
Final meeting spot to be confirmed via @punahou2005 Instagram Stories the morning of. We’ll aim to set up near the purple dot on the map (grassy area by the lot). Beach cleanup begins by the yellow dot at 9:00 AM.

Date: Sunday, June 8, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

What to Expect
9:00 AM – Beach Cleanup begins (trash bags and gloves will be provided)
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Class picnic and beach hangout
10:45–11:00 AM – Bento delivery for those who pre-ordered
Tents, tables, and coolers with water will be provided by the committee

What to Bring
Class shirt, beach chairs or blankets, drinks for your family, sunscreen, towels, beach toys, snacks, and lunch (if you didn’t pre-order a bento)

Parking
Use the Magic Island lot on the Diamond Head side of Ala Moana Beach Park

PUNAHOU ALUMNI LUAU

Celebrating milestones! Punahou alumni from classes ending in 5 and 0 will gather on campus for an unforgettable Alumni Lū’au. This year’s event will take place on Chamberlain Field, as Cooke Library, next to Rice Field, is transformed into the future Mary Kawena Pukui Learning Commons.

A cherished tradition will continue as the 50th Reunion Class of 1975 proudly marches into the tent, honoring their legacy. Guests will enjoy a feast prepared by the Imu Gang and Dole Hall crew, along with exceptional entertainment, making it a night filled with community, tradition, and aloha.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • Your $65 ticket includes a buffet of Robata Jinya’s most popular savory dishes, from sushi to bites. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options will be labeled.

  • A professional photographer will be on site from 6:30–7:30 PM for class photos and candid moments.

BAR INFO

  • No-host bar available.

  • Cash is recommended, as it's typically faster than using a card.

  • Free parking is available at:

E HO’I MAI ALUMNI CELEBRATION

At Thursday’s E Ho‘i Mai Alumni Celebration, Punahou alumni from all classes will gather in the Academy Quad for an evening filled with camaraderie, food, drink and music by alumni performers, as part of Alumni Week.

The celebration included an exciting update on the remodel of the Academy’s Cooke Library, which has recently been named the Mary Kawena Pukui Learning Commons in honor of the influential Hawaiian educator, scholar, composer and author, Mary Kawena Pukui (1895 – 1986). Join Us for a 2005 Class Golf Event

To start the festivities, consider joining the Punahou Class of 2005 Golf Event as a fun and casual way to reconnect before the main reunion celebrations.

Thanks to Nai, we have secured tee times at Kapolei Golf Course for this special gathering. Here are the event details:

Location: Kapolei Golf Course
🏌️ Capacity: Room for up to 52 players
🕥 Check-in: 10:30 AM
Tee Times: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
💰 Registration Fee: $97 per person (includes bento lunch)
💳 Payment: Payable on the day of the event via credit card
